Will this install on a 2005 TJ?
No, It will not accept the key type for coding
What about the seal? I can't stand having the sensor on my dash always on due to the seal on the gas cap with lower quality caps. Thank you.
This is a dealer supplied cap. This would have the same thickness of seal that was included from the factory.
What is the part number for the pin and spring kit for this lock?
There is no single kit for this cylinder and cap. The 4 tumblers are #05257132AB, 05257133AB, 05257134AB, 05257135AB and the springs that are used #04746873
Where can I buy the tumbler system from dealer say they don’t sell it
If the dealer does not sell it then we do not have access to it as a replacement part. You may need to purchase a new cap

Yes, the plastic tether is pre-installed on the gas cap.
Is this product keyed to my ignition key? I notice no keys are included with this purchase. Is this a service Quadratec does or am I responsible for getting it keyed?
Hello, This would need to be brought to your local Jeep dealership or a local locksmith to have keyed your existing ignition key.
