I have purchased a 2013 Wrangler Sahara and it has locks on the wheels but "NO" key came with the Jeep. Can you purchase a key separately? how do I get these removed to replace with "NEW" locks?
If the original key or Key Identification card is not available you will need to remove them by other means and purchase a new set of locks with key.
What is the thread size on this. I bought a spare lock for a 2018 and it would not fit. I looked at the specs and it seems they have two thread sizes for 2018 depending on the engine.
These are for 1/2"-20 threads, the standard used on Jeep Wranglers until the new 2018 JL, where the threads changed to metric.
Is there a specific way to tell if this will fit on my jeep? I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. I need to have the one that is on there busted off because I do not have the key - but want to have one on hand to put on when the other comes off. But I want to make sure I purchase one that will fit.
This will fit you Jeep in place of the lock that you are removing, however, if you have the full set of locks for the wheels and spare, there is no way to guarantee that the new key will match the old locks. If you have a full set then you should replace them all, please see 82211405
Will this only work with the stock Mopar lug nuts?
This replaces your stock lug nut.
A previous owner left the lock on the tire but did not leave a tool to take it off. If I buy this will I be able to get the one off my car?
Unfortunately there is no guarantee that you will receive the same design. Multiple random designs are used to add a layer of security.

The threads will be similar but may not fit the lug pocket on an earlier production wheel.
I have a Jeep Rubicon JL 2019 , which are the correct LOCKS for all 5 wheels (including spare tire) ?
