Reviews for Quadratec Floor Liner Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
The floor mats are awesome, no complaints! Heavy duty, thick material.
The cargo mat was a letdown. Made of a different plastic material that looks and feels cheap.
I swear by these mats I had them in my 08 JK, Just ordered them for my new JK. I bought this product for my sons 97 TJ. The front and back mats were great quality and I have no complaints. As stated above in other reviews though. The cargo mat is HORRIBLE. I don't understand why its made like that. Cheap plastic and feels totally different than the front and rear floor mats. If there is a reason for this I'm dying to know. At the price I though they would all be the same.
The front ones are great give them a 5
Cargo area mat needs to be same thickness 4
Great mats. Only 4 stars because the back mat is about 3 inches short. Back mat sitting on the shelf in the garage. Front and behind set mats fit prefect. In snow wet floor the ridges keep your feet out of the water.
Sufficient for the job
Nice fit. Good quality. Fit could be a little better but the price is right.
Ordered a full set of liners for my '97 TJ project. Overall pretty pleased with them and would give them a B+. A few things to note: I would give the material quality an A. The fitment for the fronts an A, and the fitment for the rears and cargo areas a B-. The liners appear to be a fairly heavy gauge of rubberized plastic and have a quality feel to them especially for the price. The front liners fit very good, almost perfect. They include a slide guard that can be installed on older models to keep either the left or right mat from sliding - both front mats have a cutout for this, but only one slide guard is included. The treads are fairly deep and might cause an issue with your heal catching if you have a manual - no issues with my auto. My only real complaints are with the back mats and the cargo mat. The back mats are about 95% sized and leave room around them. They clearly could have been larger to full fill the space and will likely side around a bit. Not bad, but why aren't they 100% if these have to be manufactured for a specific vehicle anyways? I'm not going to lose sleep over it, but just not 100%. The back cargo liner only goes partially under the back seat. It's almost like they ran out of material and just stopped it at some arbitrary point. If your rear seat is removed, these will NOT cover the entire cargo area. Also, if you have the optional locking rear box / cage in the very back, the frame for it will not fit inside the liner. Another instance of where the liner is sized about 95% of what it should be. The rear cargo liner will have to be cut in the middle to allow the seat belts to come through. Overall I'm pleased with them for the price paid; however, I would have gladly paid another $10 for them to be perfect.
The quality of the material and the fit are both truly terrific. The deep lug pattern is attractive, but my boot tread sometimes gets stuck in the mat and causes some panic when going for the brake or clutch! Too big to return, so I will deal with this issue. Dave in PA
Same complaint as everyone about the rear mat.... Pretty cheap and doesn't go under the seat all the way.. If you run without a rear seat you're missing 8 inches of mat and it looks out of place. On my Jk the mat goes under the seat and around the hinges so when you take out the seat it looks like it belongs there. Fix the issue quadratec and offer rear mats to all your customers!
Shipping was fast and the price was reasonable. The front and rear mats fit perfect. However, the cargo mat is ridiculously cheap. The material is poor quality and there is a lip on the back of it that looks terrible. I expected better quality. By now quadratec is aware of this issue. They need to fix it. No excuses for poor quality.
