Bought these (after the fact!) to go with the Rough Country 61030 2.5in Suspension Lift Kit I was installing on my 1982 CJ-7 Base. This was my first installation of a lift. If I ever do another lift I will buy these inexpensive parts first instead of having a torn apart jeep because I stripped a bolt or had to cut one (both happened). Its easier to buy this than fix unless you have to experience and kit to repair a bolt.

Perfect replacement for a hard to source (locally) bolt that had to be ground off during my lift installation. I went to 3-4 hardware stores without luck before looking at Quadratec. I should have started here!

I ordered these bolts with Omix bushings and Crown bushing sleeves. These bolts do not fit the Crown sleeves. Too big. I went to the hardware store and bought 1/2” bolts. Not sure it the bolts or the sleeves were incorrect, but the sleeves and bushings worked perfectly with a 1/2” bolt.

These DO NOT FIT a 1982 CJ5. They are too long and the nut will bottom out before you get final torque. Also the nut is a nylon locking nut of some low quality steel. The first 2 that I attempted to tighten had the threads extrude out under minimal torque. I suspect this is a cheap knockoff. Quadratec should stop selling these or at least stop saying they fit a 1982. They do not.
