Hello. Is this item black on the back (inside the car)?

Yes, this was designed to be easily removed and re-installed.
What is the difference between black diamond and black twill?
Black Diamond is the factory soft top material. Twill is a 4 layer heavy duty fabric that carries a lifetime warranty.
I'm interested in a Sunrider for hard top, but am also considering a Kargo Master Congo Cage (5035-1) and cross rails to use to transport a kayak. Will the Congo Cage provide sufficient clearance for me to open and close the Sunrider for hard top without having to manually raise the Congo Cage above its normal position? Thanks for your help. When you go to remove your hard top do this stay attached or does it remove?
You would want to remove this from the Jeep prior to removing your Jeeps factory hardtop.
