Installed as a temporary solution to wasted spider gears in my factory D35. So far it works as it should. Performed great off road last weekend in a small amount of snow/ice. Great improvement over years past w/ open diffs. Installed myself. WARNING: There was a design change. The instructions that were supplied by the manufacturer were NOT changed accordingly. Because this was my first time installing one, I was very hesitant to wrap up the job in the amount of time it should have taken. Recommendation: Mark the parts w/ a permanent marker on each side before installing. Helps align during install and you know they are matched up properly once they are installed. Heads up: There was some noise on tight turns in the beginning. I am hoping there was just a break in period. There is some slight/ different torque steer when shifting(M/T). Also slight tire chirp on tight turns on pavement. Hopefully wont be an issue on snowy roads. I plan on removing the cover to recheck everything inside. Just haven't had a chance yet. Should definitely serve it's purpose until I can afford to upgrade from my factory diffs. (97 TJ Sport 4.0)
