Reviews for OMIX 16737.45 Steel Brake Line Set for 81-86 Jeep CJ-7 with Power Disc Brakes
Cheap
Pain in the arse to install, but having the lines pre bent was 100% worth it.
I don't know, I haven't seen them yet
Nice set of lines, 5 stars for quality. The lines have a nice coating on them to protect from rust and full coverage of rock shield on all the frame lines. 2-4 hours seems quite low for installation time. If you're a shade tree mechanic working on jack stands in your driveway I would estimate closer to 8 hours. All of the major bends are in the right places. The lines require quite a bit of massaging to get them where they fit the frame properly without forcing them into place with the frame clamps. The rear brake line will appear 5-6 inches too long at first. After a bit of tweeking of the bends at the rear shock and at the proportioning valve it fits fine. Several things that add time but assist in installation: remove the radiator and fan. This will allow you to get the front passenger line in from the top of the engine compartment. Unbolt the exhaust pipe from the manifold and hangers and slide toward the passenger side. This will help with access to the connections at the proportioning valve.
