Reviews for OMIX 12303.13 Driver Side Full Steel Door Seal for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ & Unlimited
Bought for both doors, left a more detailed review on the passenger door page. Great fit/value.
Need this and no longer produced by original manufacturer.
Seal works great.
I like it much better than the original.

just replaced my driver side door seal. This product works as intended and takes about 10 min to install and is very simple. The seal has installed plastic fasteners but within the TJ full door it has no purpose. to Properly install the seal most of the fasteners will have to be removed in order to place the seal inside of the groves to hold it in place. a pair of pliers will take them right out and it will not rip your seal. overall great product and will recommend to replace original or worn down seals.
Easy to install and seals well. I hope that with use, it will allow the door to close easier. Right now the door needs to be closed with alot of force to shut completely. Overall, it is a good seal.
I have a 2005 LJ. I have a water leak and this Seal stopped the leak which I am happy about but I had to cut the seal to fit properly as instructed by the quadratic consultant I spoke to after calling. I don’t like cutting a seal because I feel in the long run it will not work correctly. At this point I cut the bottom open to take about an inch and a half out to make it tight. Not happy about it but it’s working to stop the leak for now. Not sure which brand seal would fit better but would love to know so I can buy it.
Product seems to be made off quality materials, but the seal is to big for my door.
This seal is probably two or three inches too long. I had to take a pocket knife and trim some of the areas, especially around the windowsill where the trim was far too long to fit properly, and the thing STILL doesn't fit properly. Then when I got it in, I had to pull it back out of the door to make more cuts because the overrun was interfering with the mechanism to open the door. Finally, when I tested it driving it's letting in a lot of air around the door jamb anyway. I went ahead and found another site and ordered the MOPAR seals which will hopefully fit the vehicle better. Skip these.
