Does this model fit with half doors JK 2009 model? As I read in the description, it says only for Hard doors. Did I miss something?
Yes, it will, but no one is actively producing a twill matching soft upper half door. Mopar soft upper doors would be in sailcloth and would mismatch. The Core upper doors by Bestop in Twill Part 51732-17 and 51733-17 should also fit JK Mopar half doors. Thanks for your inquiry.

What is the difference in a JK and JL, I don't see anywhere on my paperwork which one I actually have. Are they the same, universal?
The most obvious and easily identifiable feature that distinguishes a JK from a JL model, is that JK uses only Key to start the engine, and JL models have Fob and Start Stop button instead. The Bestop version of this product appears to have two top arches that I don't see mentioned in the installation instructions for this Mopar product. Are they part of the pre-assembled folding framework? I assume the arches on the Bestop product stay visible with the top folded back so does that mean this Mopar product will look "cleaner" without the additional arches?
The top arches are exclusive to the Bestop name brand version of the this top.
Two questions. 1) what is the main difference between the Mopar top and the Quadratec Part #: 11103.0235 Bestop Part #: 54823-17 2) What is the tint % on the Mopar top? Thanks!
The Mopar version comes installed on the folding framework and is an easier install, the Bestop needs to be assembled prior to assembly, Once they are on the Jeep there is no difference. They both have 31% tint
For taking the soft top down, how different is it than when taking the factory soft top off? Also, being a thicker material, how does well does it collapse when in the down position in the back compared the the factory?
This is the factory soft top, just a premium option starting in 2013. This option does not collapse as flat as the original black diamond does due to the thickness.
Doses this top also fold all the way back and rest on the back tailgate?
It does fold all the way back, but on the 4-door wrangler it will hang from the mid-point on the rear sportbar, and the material and frame work will be near the tailgate.
got my top all on but now i can choose between latching it at the windshield or attaching the rear soft top pillars...but not both. Is there a trick I'm missing?? (2017 4dr)
Rely on the stretch of the fabric. With the windows out, loosely attach at the windshield, but do not fully buckle the latches. Attach the rear corner plastic tabs under the rail on the tub to hold the rear corners. Now you can return to the windshield area and use the lever action of the latch to pull the top tight.
How is this different from the other MOPAR one on the site?
Assuming the other Mopar version is the Black Diamond Sailcloth that you are referring to, this is a heavier layered material that is actually a fabric outer layer as well as decorative fabric under liner. Installation and use are the same.
Doesn’t my 2007 unlimited already have the door surrounds, Or are the new ones different and necessary to install the new top?
The door surrounds from an original 07 soft top are not the same as those used in the Sunrider style soft tops. You will need to use the hardware that is included with this top to install and operate properly.
