The shape of it

Giving it five stars because the quality and the fit/finish is first rate. It matches the TJ hood perfectly and having repainted the 2003 within the last 18 months (including a color change) avoiding stone chips in this area will be crucial. That said, the sheen of the material matches the paint but not the rest of the black which is flat. Still an awesome purchase.

You may want to slightly trim some of the 3m tape for a totally clean look on the edges, but all in all, looks great. Rather than a straight up wall, this deflector sits on the lift of the hood...a little more aerodynamic and a more solid fit on your Jeep than other options.

Like the look and functionality of this piece. Protects my newly repainted hood.

I expected the bug deflector to have more of a lip. This just lays flat on the hood. I see no advantage to this deflector.
