Do you need the factory inner flares to use these ?
They are designed for use with factory flare liners. Thanks for your inquiry.
The question was asked/answered above about these being meant to be left unpainted. In the stock picture they look greyish but in the customer posted pic they look like they are black. What color are they meant to be and will they stay that color or fade over time like the OEM fender flares on these year models?
These are black. The grayish color would just be from the photography. These have UV stabilizer in the plastic when it is produced, but over time even those break down due to the sun. If the stabilizers dry out the flares will fade to gray. Using a protecant like Forever Black on a regular basis will keep the oils fresh in the plastic and maintain the nice deep black. Regular maintenance would be about once every 3-4 months depending on how much the Jeep stays parked in the sun and how often you wash the vehicle, detergents can dry out the stabilizers too.
To be clear, does the kit for this listing include the hardware? Also, are these suitable as UNPAINTED factory replacements? Thanks!

Are these flares wider than stock?
No, these are replacement flares that are the same width and design as the original.
I see that there is an answered question about if this kit includes the mounting hardware, but I was curious if the mounting hardware is the same as the OMIX-ADA Fender Flare Hardware Kit (22 Flare Retainers, 24 Fasteners, 38 T-Style Clips), or if that set needs to be purchased separately. The reason I'm asking is because a reviewer said that hardware was not included, and the "Parts Included" section of the item description does not state the individual numbers for the included mounting hardware.
That same hardware kit is included with the fender flares set. If the hardware is missing from a shipment that should include it, our service department will make things right!
