Does the rack clear the license plate bracket when tilted back?
Yes, it will. The back support is bent in a manner that will have it clear of hitting the bracket when the Sherpa rack is tilted back. Thanks for your inquiry.
Is the 300 lb rating dynamic or static?
That would be maximum load, dynamic or static.
Which of your bumpers is this rack compatible with?
This rack is designed for use with Rugged Ridge® and OE rear bumpers. Other aftermarket bumpers may require complete removal of the bumper for installation or other modifications. Because of this we can not confirm fitment of any aftermarket bumpers.
I have 2016 hardtop Rubicon. What about the wind noise. and can you add a wind buffer on this rack?
There is not a wind deflector that is specific to this rack.
How would this rack work if hoisting Hard top off of JKU?
It would need to be removed first.
What is the measurement from the hard top to the top of the rack?
This rack sits about 6-8" above.
will the fuel filler door still be accessible once this rack is installed. I have a Quadratec billet style filler door.
Yes you will still be able to access fuel doors with the rack installed
I have a soft top and a hard top on my 2011 JKU. Will I need to completely remove this rack in order to change out the tops, or will it tilt back enough to allow the change out?
This will tilt back enough to swap out the tops
Could you attach the ARB Awning to this rack?
ARB does not provide a list of racks on which their awnings mount. The awning is universal and designed to work with "most" racks. It will support 300lbs.
How much can the rack hold and does the cross bars come with it?
The Sherpa Rack is rated to a 300lb evenly distributed load. Crossbars are sold separately.
