Reviews for Rugged Ridge 11025.04 Mirror Relocation Bracket in Black for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
I use these brackets on my 2019 Wrangler JL - with or without doors on. To accomplish this I used one existing hole in the A-pillar and drilled a second upper hole for the bracket. The drilling was difficult but the result excellent.
As far as the right-mirror being blocked, you very quickly learn to move your neck a little back when you look over toward the passenger side mirror -- with this slight adjustment in your view, which becomes completely automatic after a few days, makes the pass side mirror absolutely usable/valuable. It's obvious to me, after many years Jeeping with a partially-blocked pass side mirror, that those complaining never gave it a week to get used to.
FYI I also apply convex "blind spot" mirrors on both sides which add to the functionality!
Passenger mirror becomes almost useless with full doors on. Without doors or even half doors they work perfect.
Good product
This is probably the worst product in the whole store! Well, I'll take that back...the product itself is fine; good quality stuff. The function of the product is what it crap. Sure, they mention in the descripton that the passenger side view is "partially blocked" while the doors are on (more like completely, but ok). What they fail to mention is that it is ALSO mostly blocked with the doors off! The rounded part of the end of the dash almost completely blocks the view while the doors are off.
