This actually provides good coverage for items you don't want in plain view when the top is down. My only complaint is the rubber edging - keeps popping off on the corners. It should come with this permanently attached, but it's not that big an issue.

Secure as a safe, solid and well built,fairly easy install. My only 1-star subtraction is that after installation the already tiny "trunk" of my 2-door JK is even tinier, not the fault of the manufacturer, just a general disappointment it is also not especially easy or quick to remove once it's in so if you drop your back seat often, this may be a bit of a pain. I do, however, feel very confident that my tools and recovery gear are safely locked up when I close my gate.

Has little gap that you can see into. Wouldn’t be very water resistant. Not bad if you have tonneau covers.
