Reviews for QuadraTop Bimini Top Plus for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
Mine was missing one of the velcro straps for the drivers side. Luckily I have window frames. Also, it doesn't look like this will strap down on the rod bar without removing the padding and any grab handles. A long flat bungee stretched across the the back and clipped to the top greatly reduces flapping
The top is made well, no complaints. However, the back of the top is loud as it flaps when driving. Especially on windy days or when driving over 35 mph. Wish there was something Quadratec could do to alleviate that issue. No way I can drive on the Interstate with it. Also, you do get a little wet when raining. Too bad there isn't a slight extension out over the doors.
I was not happy with the way the top fit to the header. The sides fit nicely into my door surrounds, but the header connection was terrible.
The front of the bimini slides into the header with a thin plastic strip. It easily slides in and out. It has come out multiple times at speeds less than 35 mph.
Also, the rear straps that should wrap underneath where the rear seat belt shoulder harness attaches to the roll cage weren't long enough so couldn't pull the rear tight.
I don't normally leave reviewes, but wanted to warn others away from this top.
Very difficult to install, 2 straps already broke. Front will not stay in the bracket. Has blown off several times while traveling down the road.
Total waste of money. Wouldn't fit in header channel they sold me and had no straps in the back to hold it down properly.
