Reviews for CSF 2576 Copper Brass OE Replacement Radiator for 87-02 Jeep Wrangler TJ and YJ
US Armed forces overseas. Quadratec pulls through again...thank you; you are one of very few companies to ship USPS to APO addresses. My only complaint is the transition time between warehouses for shipment, but I will not reduce the rating because of it. On with the part review. Perfect fit in my 98 Wrangler TJ Sport, 6/4.0L, with air conditioning condenser forward of the radiator. I'm an experienced mechanic with great working knowledge of my Jeep, and knocked the job out in 2.5 hours. No leaks, solid construction, except I would recommend a new radiator cap or replace old cap gasket. Product is way better than the old plastic/metal combo OEM trash radiator. Temperature holds around 206-210 degrees on a beautiful 70 degree English day, at 33 feet above sea level. Thank you again Quadratec!
The radiator fit well and so far no issues with engine temps - it is winter. I would have given 5 stars if it included new bolts. The kit does not include bolts, so you must reuse your original bolts. The original fan shroud bolts from my 1995 Wrangler did not fit the threaded holes in the radiator, and customer service was unable to tell me what size bolts to use. Through trial and error, I found that they are metric M6.
Dropped right in, fits well. One bit of advice, send shroud bolts that actually fit the radiator. Not every model uses the same shroud bolts.
Just installed the radiator yesterday and it fit perfectly in but I couldn’t give it a five star rating because they need to provide new bolts because the ones on my old radiator busted. I realize that is not there fault but it would be nice to have new bolts with the new radiator..thanks, Kenny from Delaware
No issues after 10k miles. Everything lined up perfect on my 99 TJ
