Reviews for WeatherTech Cargo Liner for 11-14 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
Looks durable
Absolutely love my Weather Tech Cargo Liner! I would purchase again and again!
Great product
This mat is great. I run the quadratec mats in the driver, passenger, and 2nd row and honestly they are better material (personally compared to Weathertech for those areas). After seeing the higher quality quadratec floor mats I would have preferred a quadratec cargo mat but their absence of D-ring cut-outs is a deal breaker. Weathertech material isn't as thick but it gets the job done. It's clear that the lip around the weather tech mat will consolidate some amount of liquid that collects but it definitely isn't going to hold water like a kiddie pool (as some of the other competitors' mats will).
The D-ring cut-out windows are raised so even if you do elect to cut boxes for your cargo D-rings you won't lose the water down those holes. In summary, the best setup is Q-tech in the front and 2nd row with weathertech in the cargo hold.
Sets the standard.
I had High expectations with WeatherTech. I mean the commercials make it seem that everything they make fits like a glove... It does't. My JK has a sound package with the sub built into the back right side of the cargo area. well when i got my cargo liner it didn't fit at all, there was a corner on the mat that didn't fit. I called Quadratec and they were very helpful but said i had to take a razor blade and cut off the excess. That's not a big deal but when you spend that much on a cargo liner that said its injection molded or what ever you should not have to take a blade to it to make it fit! the edges don't lay flat either. I will say it does ok my floor doesn't take as much of a beating. If I did it over i would go with the Quadratec brand they give you an option for the sound package and the price is better.
I have bought weather tech for other cars and these did not stay in shape to make a tray, Kept rolling up. Perhaps instead of shipping them rolled up they could have shipped in a flat box like Besttop does.
