Reviews for Smittybilt Cab Cover with Door Flaps for 92-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ & TJ
Been using this for a month on the TX coast and has been fantastic. Takes about 30 second to get on my Jeep and only a couple to secure the straps. In the humidity and wind it's kept everything out of the cab (no roof, just lower doors and bra on top) and kept it clean. Only issue I had (not the fault of the product) was with the two straps and clips at both doors not working due to my modification of the side rails. I solved this with two 10" long 1" strips of webbing and just toss under the vehicle to strap on both sides and problem solved. Plenty of good attach straps around rest of cover, great overall product.
Just arrived today (Sunday) and I ordered it Friday. Looks great. I hope it holds up like the Quadratec full cover I got last year just before the Las Vegas summer started. Looks and feels substantial. Should keep my Smittybilt cargo net and seats lookinh good for years to come. My YJ goes Topless/doorles year round here in the desert.
This is a really nice cover that looks good and appears to be durable and sturdy. Let's see how it holds up under the Florida sun. Quadratec provided what we expected, including shipping. It was super easy to install on the 1998 Wrangler. We're rating 4 out of 5 stars because it's not made in America.
I had the same cover for 8 years and it worked excellent. It started to rip a little so I ordered a new one and it does not fit correctly. I think my old one was for a TJ only. The material on these covers hold up well in heavy rainfall and are great quality.
Cover leaks water through the seams and gets interior wet everytime it rains. I thought the first one was defective and because it was on back order by the time I received the 2nd one it was winter time. So I was out of return period by the time I got to test the replacement. I have to install my bikini top everytime before it rains and the place this cover on or my jeep so only my back seats get wet. Absolute disappointment don't waste your money if you need protection from rain
