I bought this for my jk. Easy to install, looks nice, and it protects the trunk space. Very happy with this item. If you've got a soft top and want more security, this is the item to have.

Installed easily one drawback is it isn’t as advertised. You are supposed to be able to lay it down to make room for bigger items but that isn’t the case. I even asked Quadratec and they confirmed it.

Nice tight fit, easy enough to install. Couple issues about Qudratech listing:
- Lid can be easily removed without tools for transporting taller items WRONG. You can't remove the lid, it is one piece construction with hinges. Confirmed with Tuffy as well.
- Supplied installation instructions on site show older model with a separate lid. So they are outdated as well.

Easy enough to install, but definitely not as described. I chose this model based on the description that the "shelf" could be removed to accommodate taller items. This is not the case, it came as one unit with a hinge and can not be separated. I thought about returning it but will give it a try and see if the small space works for the items I need to secure. The shelf does seem sturdy enough to place items on top of it, but with the soft back window, I would worry that things will fall against the plastic and scratch it, so not sure that is a realistic option.

I had one of these in my 2000 Wrangle and it def made going topless more secure. So, when I bought a 2017 to replace, I bought another. Just as convenient, however this time around I now have noticed it has created a large rip on the rear side of my back seat where the unnecessary cutout is on the right side of the enclosure. Not happy about that (only reason for the mark down).

Nice product from Tuff. But doesn't fix properly. Had to cut the metal with a 4" grinder to fit it in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler that came with the factory sub-woofer.

Lid doesn't remove. Or lift for tall items. Works as security only.

I suppose that I should of paid more attention to the reviews before purchasing this item. It absolutely does not allow for the removal or opening of the “lid” for storage of large/tall items. This was a huge disappointment considering the limited storage/hauling space of my 2dr JK Willys. Obviously a JK isn’t going to be hauling lumber or a tree stand, but the ability to stand something up in the back on occasion was handy. I was halfway in to the install before realizing this, and I had cut up the shipping box to use as a work mat already so I just decided to go with it.
The security aspect and tight fit are worthy, but honestly the lack of an opening lid brings this down a few stars for me. That’s a Quadratec fail not a Tuffy fail to be honest.
