Want a soft riding YJ? Install 4 of these. Yes four. Front AND rear. They fit just fine. My YJ is a 6 cylinder auto with a soft top. The springs do sit close to flat at ride height, but boy is the ride nice. I used some simple monotube gas shocks from KYB in conjunction with them. If you want a bit of stance, do a 1" body mount lift. Your back will thank you.

I bought a set of these for a 1993 YJ and they fit well, the ride height is just a little higher than stock and the ride quality is very good. This YJ is primarily a fair weather Jeep for my son and his family and will see occasional off road use and the ride is much better than stock. Now I need to order a set for the rear!

Put these on my stock 4.2L ‘89 a few months ago. As soon as weight was put on them they flattened out. So if you don’t mind a flatter spring, these are you. Personally I’ll be getting some heavier duty ones so they’re default form isn’t flat.
