Simple ten minute install. Remove the gas cap and the tether first. You need to remove your tail light next - two inboard screws only. No need to disconnect it. Then use a flat head screwdriver and press down on the two retention clips you can see to get the old unit loose. Once pressed in a little then push the old unit out a little. You can then pull the entire old unit out by wiggling it to the rear then out from the Jeep. Takes a bit of effort since the grommet it holding it on the filler tube. Take off the grommet from the old unit and put it on the new Mopar one. I added just a thin film of grease to the inside of the grommet and the outside of the four retention clips to make install easier. Line up the pin on the unit with the hole in the panel and push it in over the gas take filler tube. Snaps in easily. Check that the grommet fits over the tube properly. Reattach the tether and fuel cap. Put tail light back. Done! Looks great.
