Reviews for Mopar 3 Piece Freedom Top for 09-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door
Excellent product, fast shipping. Took longer to unwrap than actually install. Fits perfect. Very happy
Excellent delivery and fit
Purchased hardtop about 1 year ago. It was packed well. Two of us placed it on the jeep with no issues. Took about an hour. Very satisfied and the road noise was significantly reduced. Highly recommend!!
Got this for my 2013 JK 2 door. Fit like a glove. Arrived via freight truck on a double pallet and packed very well. Comes with all hardware and took longer to unpack than to put on my jeep. No leaks, no squeaks. Do yourself a favor and buy Mopar for a hard top. It will make a difference.
Solid product and easy to install.
Ordered differrent top not the greatest fit had to crate up and send back ordered this top factory fit no problems so in my experience pay the money and save yourself the time and agrevation buy this hard top
Solid OEM product.
If you have a 2008 Jeep support will recommend this unit with the $30 adapter strip. Shipment will occur in 2 shipments: one from freight company and in my case one from Fed Ex. Parts will not arrive together thus delaying installation.
Installation is pretty straight forward. However the unit comes with 4 locating pins. For the 2008 JK you will need to remove the rear pins. This is not noted in the instructions and you can not access the pins while the unit is in the crate. I place the unit on the vehicle and then lifted the rear and place blocks to create working space. I had to use a cutoff tool and remove the top of the locating pin. Cutting below would have damaged the sealing material.
We did not install the window pistons until the unit was on the vehicle. Access was much easier with the unit on the vehicle. You will need at least two people to place the unit. Three would be easier.
Once I receive the adapter strip and cabling I'll complete the review.
Also customer service did not recommend the sound insulation so we'll see how the noise level is once we're on the road again.
