Does this harness require splicing into the brake wire... or anywhere else?
Installation instructions do not indicate a splicing requirement. It is designed to plug into factory equipped harnesses. Thanks for your inquiry.

Could you clarify how the right turn signal is transmitted in case of connection is supposed only to left taillight and power supply?
The rear lights are linked via a rear jumper wire that connects the sides.

Will this work with progressive brake controllers, or just time delay?
This should work with progressive and time delay as the signal will be supplied by the controller.

What is the blue wire for that comes into the cab? Does it hook to the electric brake controller? Does mopar make an electric brake controller? I assume you have to add one of those if your trailer has electric brakes? Thanks
Yes the blue wire is for a brake controller, but Jeep does not have a unit for the JK models. You can use your favorite brand of controller to operate trailer brakes.

So I want to be sure before I spend this kind of money on a harness. This harness will allow me to hook a trailer brake controller without having to splice into the factory wiring?
Correct.
Matt M.
Will this work in conjunction with the Quadratec back up light wiring harness?
Any plug and play devices that plug into the Jeep factory wiring will work with this and not interfere.

I cannot tell from instructions. Does black have a fuse/diode or does it connect to a circuit breaker?
The extra lead that connects to the trailers brake controller has an independent fuse. That is the coil of blue wire. All other wires are factory terminated and will be controlled through the on board fuses and wire management systems

where are the rest of the installation instructions at?
like what is A, B, C, D, E, ect., and what does the blue wire connect to, or does it get pulled into the passenger compartment for no reason. Diagram just shows blue wire zip tied into a bunch.
The bullet points, "A, B, C, D, E, etc.." on the first page match up the the installation diagrams on the subsequent pages in the instructions. The instruction pdf is 5 pages long. The blue wire is shown being zip tied under the dash for future connection to a trailer brake controller. If you are installing a brake controller at the same time as the trailer wiring harness, you can make that connection then.

Does it actually fit the Wrangler Unlimited? The instructions indicate the 2-door only and show the 4-door crossed out.
Hello, this fits both 2 and 4 door models. Thank you for your question.
