Exact OEM replacements.

My straps dry-rotted and ripped. At first I didn’t see the point of replacing- but after a while I noticed my soft top not quite fitting right and the rear window zipper getting more and more damage, until it (the soft top) had to be replaced.

This product REALLY needs installation instructions. I put them on wrong probably 4-5 times, ran out of rivets, reamed out the holes. Best thing I can tell you is to pay close attention to how the original straps are oriented before you take them off.

Perfect replacement part. I don't know how the original were damaged, but these were easy to install.
It's best to drill out the old rivets. I made it harder on myself by cutting off the old heads, using a grinder, then finishing with a 1/8" drill bit... Should have just started with the drill.
I gave this product 4/5 stars because it lacked instructions.
Also, there are two in a pack (one for each side) so you don't need to order two as I did...

You can do this yourself for about $20 (if you already have a rivet tool) with nylon strap, aluminum rivets and a lighter.

There are no instructions on how to install this. From online threads I have read you need to drill out the old screws & use a rivet gun to install the new ones in place. Will update once I have time to do install it.
