Reviews for Rugged Ridge Custom Fit Neoprene Front Seat Covers for 11-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Nice fit. Snug! Been on for a couple weeks and no complaints yet
It's a tight fit but they look great and will keep the original fabric in good condition. Only problem I have is with the hooked elastic bands that go under the seat...it's really tough getting those together. Overall a great purchase.
I bought these seat covers for my 2017 JKU. The fit is fantastic and the material is thick, high-quality, rugged neoprene. They are nice and tight, even around the curved/raised portions of the seat. I would give 5 stars, but I am only giving 4 due to the fact that the outer layer of neoprene was curling back from one of the seams.
I bought these for my 2013 JKU, to replaced a pair of faded and torn Smitty Built neoprene covers so my review compares the two.
The short story is - avoid these and buy the Smitty Built seat covers. These are thick and well padded, and look ok after they are installed...... but installation is a nightmare compared to the Smitty Built.
1) the Smitty's are $179. and include the rear covers. These are $230, and are only the two fronts
2) the Smitty's are one-piece, and are relatively easy to install. These are 2 pieces, and are a pain in the rear to get installed.
2) the Smitty's fit right, and cover the seats well. These fit OK, but because they are 2 piece they leave the inside rear corners and the lower front corners of the seat bottom uncovered and unprotected.
3) the side curtain flaps on the Smitty's fit right, and cover the air bag panel properly. These do not - I tried and tried to get them to stretch and line up, but they are poorly cut and resist fitting right.
4) The Smitty head rest covers fit well and cover the whole headrest - these do not.
I would return them, but they are now installed and I have no desire to wrestle with them any further.
DO NOT BUY THESE, unless you like to be frustrated and tortured.
Not sure if these are the right ones. Box says 07-15 wrangler unl jk. I was putting in the first one. Strap broke immediately upon slight pull to get tension. Not even close to hard tug
