Reviews for Teraflex 1123140 Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with OEM Tie Rod
Such an easy upgrade that probably should have been OEM, moves the steering stabilizer up and out of the way. Simple installation, hardest part is prying off the old bracket.
This is a great way to get easy extra clearance . Heavy duty too.
Outstanding product consistent with what I expect from Teraflex. Directions were accurate and easy to follow. As many others have stated, removal of the shock sleeves is not easy, but we found that using a 10mm socket and a rubber mallet, it pushed the old sleeves out very quickly. Thank you to Quadratec and Teraflex for the simple protection for my new Fox Steering Stabilizer!
Way better than the factory location, and the hardware is top notch.
I did this completely on my own, one things in the instructions wasn't clear, I get three washers and one is small, i just watched cj offroad video of it, I have Teraflex 2.5 lift and need to relocate my stabilizer, I destroyed it on the rubicons gate keeper at the loon lake entrance. Rest of the instructions were simple but watch this video for help.
couldn't be happier with this purchase. The stabilizer is not only out of the way, but the geometry and cleanliness in appearance of this set up is awesome. Installation was quick and simple.
I use this on my two jeeps. Good quality and hardware I like how it relocates the steering shock a little higher
These are a NIGHTMARE to install. It is required that you remove both metal sleeves from the bushings of your steering stabilizer. Which requires then use of a vise. While attempting to tap out my bushings, the vise had to be clamped so hard to create enough leverage that it actually squeezed the steering stabilizer and left it deformed. Hopefully I don't have a leak now. After that you get the pleasure of mounting the stabilizer on the included oversized hardware that is near impossible to fit behind the tie rod. If you buy this product, good luck.
After about 1 week with this the forged 10.9 bolt came out and my steering stabilizer is now hanging there. Even after tightening to specs
