Worked great, windex helps install, tap with rubber mallet then when the windex dries it’s on there for good.

This product worked as it described I installed the rubber insert along with it, confirm the locking clips were in the correct position, installed the shifter and smacked The shifting knob a couple times with a rubber mallet and it locked in the place.

Usual excellent & speedy service by Quadratec. The isolator worked fine, easy to install under the transfer case shift lever clip. On a '93 YJ there was no need to crawl under the Jeep, it can be done from the interior - loosen & remove shifter boot, clean out any remains of old insulator & clip, install insulator into the clip, apply a little dishwashing liquid to lubricate, install clip with insulator onto the shifter stub, start the socket of the shifter rod onto the assembled part and with a few light taps of a rubber mallet it clicks together, and then bolt shifter boot into place.

These don't last very long (about a year for me). I am on my second one. You got to have em. buy extras.

couldnt get it to work with the clip. No matter the suggestion of dish soap and mallet...it was a no go.
