The long skinny pieces do they go closest to the foam replacement or do they go at the edge of the top closest to the windshield when the top is closed?
The skinny strips mount along the ends of the windshield header. Thanks for your inquiry.

No, this is for the 2-Door Wrangler
Where do the long narrow pieces go?
They go along the front edge of the header starting in the corners
Is there any installation instructions? Placement locations? Which directions it should face?
Unfortunately, Mopar does not make install instructions for factory replacement parts.
