Reviews for Quadratec 13125 0210 Mirror Relocation Bracket with Fill Plate For 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
As described, OEM mirrors are a bit painful to take apart but with some coaxing, they do separate from the arm.
Awesome value and very nice quality. BUT, to say that the passenger mirror view is “partially blocked” with the doors on is misleading… my 2D JK has soft windows and half doors, and the passenger view is COMPLETELY blocked and completely useless. I will need to find an alternate solution.
Serves the purpose. Passenger side is almost useless. Arms need to be longer. I need a way to extend them out while towing a trailer too. That's a different project.
Driver side works great but the passenger side is moved to far forward and is basically unless with the doors on.
The only problem with this product is you can't see the passenger side mirror once it's installed on the body.... I haven't viewed it with the doors off yet...
I bought this because of the description. It is very deceptive, It says the passenger side will be “partially “ blocked. It is less than 1/4 useable
Fill plate does it’s job. Relocation bracket on drivers side perfectly fill the need. Positioning of the passenger side bracket, with no extension, renders that mirror useless. The mirror is moved farther forward and is blocked (@ least 50%) by the dash board on the passenger side. I quickly put the mirror back in original location until I can get something that moves the passenger side mirror either out from the body, or back where the dash does not block the mirror.
Driver side mirror great! Passenger side mirror horrible! Why couldn’t there be an extension for the passenger side..? And take the factory mirrors off were a pain in the butt! All seized. Driver side mirror broke had to buy a new one. I like the idea but make a damn extension for the passenger side mirror.
Ditto to the other reviews. Passenger side mirror is useless. Will add. If you decide to go this route go ahead and buy as kit. Mirror&bracket combo. Good chance if any age on vehicle the mirror bolts will be rusted and seized. I destroyed stock bracket trying to remove mirror and after all that effort. Bolt broke and had to buy new mirrors. Now that summer is over and replacing soft doors with hard I want to move mirrors back to doors. Had to purchase new door brackets.... If had to do it again I would have just kept the cheap temporary mirrors and saved bunch if money.....
Description says that the passenger mirror is partially obstructed when door is on. It is partially obstructed when the door is off. When the door is on the passenger mirror is completely useless. Great idea but needs some reengineering. I would not recommend this product.
