Reviews for Rugged Ridge 11630.10 All-Terrain 6-Piece 6" Flare Kit for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ & Unlimited
intalled more than 3 years ago. Holding up well by all measures.
Nice product, well made, fit perfectly.
My old fenders were way past needing to be replaced. These right here sure made my ol' girl perk up. New paint job and these things? Yeah, people are asking if I got a new Jeep. Naw, she just got a face lift!
looks really great ... install was easy...spent more time taking the OEM parts off
Worked out great! Took my wife and I about 5 hours from start to finish. Getting the old flares off and dealing with wheel well liners added to the time. They look great.
Installed the RR 6" flares to cover my ProComp 33 X 12.50 skins. They look great, do their job well and install was easy (except for the removal of 20 year old stock flares!) A little creativity was needed for the new flare install but we got it done and super happy with the product. Great service, price and product ... thanks RR and Quadratec.
I lifted my jeep 3.5" and the new fenders look great!!
I’m running a 4” suspension lift with 12.50 by35 tires on my 2003 wrangler. They look great , easy it install!!!
I have one complaint , the radius of them is to tight on the wheel as to the tires rub the back edge of the flare on the rear when the truck flexes in and out of driveways
Good looking could be stiffer. Horrible directions. I reused plastic backers from originals. The tiny nuts in kit are too small without washers. for the price this should be corrected. 1-3 hour install is correct but removal is just as long. I'm happy with coverage and looks. Good product.
Bought these for my ‘05 TJ with a 2.5” lift. I run 33x12.50s on 15x10 wheels. With two teenagers in the backseat the flares rub on the back tires when I hit a bump. There is less than about 2” clearance between the tires and flares at the 10 and 2 o’clock positions. I ended up trimming off the portion of the flares where they turn downward. Marking the cut with masking tape and cutting carefully with a jig saw. Covered the edges with self-adhering rubber trim. Seems like a design flaw. Don’t remember any warnings about tire clearance, protusion, etc.. aside from all that they’re sturdy, look good, and no more water/mud splashing up the side of my Jeep or into an open window from the road.
