These shims are for Jeeps with 2.5 inch wide leaf springs. They're so wide that you can't get the U-Bolts back on the axle. I ended up cutting a quarter inch off of each side with an angle grinder cutoff wheel to make them even so they would work. I also had to order new longer 3/8 inch leaf spring center pins for my application (1977 CJ5). Once installed it improves the handling and road demeanor tremendously. I don't have to fight to keep the jeep on the road now.
