Reviews for Crown Automotive RT21033 Front Sway Bar Link Kit with Polyurethane Ends for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ & Unlimited without Lift
Good part, material is good but not reaching Mopar quality
Went on with out a problem. , noticeable difference in roll characteristics on the plus side.
I installed these about 2-3 months ago and just noticed the polyurethane bushing on the drivers side dislodged itself somehow and I am now missing that, my axle nut and bolt. I contacted Quadratec about this any they have issued me a new set of the links.
Even though this has happened to me, they still seem like a quality built product and am happy to run them. If I happen to run into this issue I will update this review. I give 4 instead of 5 stars as I can't say much else about them.
These are good bar links. Torque on the upper nut is 40 ft/lb. This was advised to me a Quadratec after I stripped the first pair. Quadratec sent me new parts and we are good.
I'm hoping I don't have any issues with this product. I checked the dimensions and the lower bushing is 1/10 shy of the stock parts. Doesn't seem like much but it was noticeable. It always concerns me when parts are not quite up to OEM specs. I always wonder if they skimped somewhere else; is the bushing smaller?, is the diameter of the metal thinner? etc. They look nice and they installed pretty easy (compared to the struggle to remove them). Perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised but they've already started out on the wrong foot.
These were junk. Had to replace them both within 6 months due to ripped boots on the top.
No good. Didn’t last 20 miles. The bottom bushings popped out on one side, and the bolt sheared on the other.
