Very stiff and makes it easy to just push the seatbelt buckle into the receiver with one hand. Also, my wife likes it.

Bought this buckle sleeve (passenger) in combination with two new buckles from the same company. After 6 month of use, the sleeve ripped/cracked on the top where the buckle is inserted. The replacement sleeve broke again within one year on the the same spot.

After some investigation …

Possible Reason 1: The replacement buckles (from the same company and marked als oem replacement) are slightly shorter than OEM. So there is some tension on the buckle sleeve.

Possible Reason 2: The replacement is flimsy compared too OEM. OEM material is twice as thick. Therefore the 30 year old oem sleeve on the driver side is still ok (also with the „shorter“ replacement buckles).
