Reviews for PPR Industries Speedometer Gear for 93-06 Jeep Vehicles
Works great! I had issues at first as my speedo didn't work after installing. I called and the customer service was great and were going to exchange my part for a new one. However, I tried it one more time and the new gear worked. Your new speedo gear will have a tooth count and it will fall within a certain range marked on the speed sensor into which you insert the new speed-gear. You want that gear number range markings on the sensor to be pointing at about the 5 O'clock position, NOT at the bolt that holds the wishbone clamp in. So if you install a new gear for the speedometer in your transfer case and it doesn't work whereas your old gear did work, it's probably clocked wrong. Hope this saves someone some trouble.
This was super easy to install, in a total of about 3 minutes. I used an online calculator to find which tooth I needed, and was surprised to find that it matched up within one mile per hour. My old gear had me from 10 to 15 mph off.
Very easy to install once I got some tips from a YouTube video. Literally took all of five minutes and I was done! I highly recommend replacing the O-ring to avoid leaks.
Easy to install and accurate speedometer based on GPS as well.
good form fit and function
good form fit and function
easy install (less than 10 min!!!) Maybe 1 to 3 MPH off, but it does state that there is a % difference...
Easy install, the speedo is now accurate after my lift and tire size increase.
So happy to have accurate speedo, easy installation
Highly recommended if you've changed your tire size and your speedometer is off as a result. Super easy to install after watching a video I found on YouTube. Takes a couple of minutes.
