Reviews for PPR Industries Speedometer Gear for 55-93 Jeep Vehicles
Charts posted are not accurate. use TCI speedometer calculator and measure your tires. don't use manufacturer size printed on tire. Good quality.
The chart indicates a 37 tooth speedometer gear for my 85 CJ7 with 4.56 gears and 35" tires. However, this caused indicated speed to show 5 mph below actual speed as checked with GPS. While this would work well for reducing the number of miles you put on your Jeep, it is not accurate. I found the 34 tooth gear to result in an exact indicated to actual speed match as verified by GPS. In my opinion, that chart isn't even a close recommendation.
Well, according to the chart 4.10 gears with 31” tires is a 37 tooth gear. Well my speedo was still off by 20mph at 70mph reading 90. I compared with GPS. So i checked my gears....yup 4.10 and tires read 31x10.5x15 so the gear itself worked fine the chart they have is crap so i spent $47 for nothing. Do more research and don’t use their chart.
Had to send it back it wont work with Quadratrac transfer case .
