Very bright light, great for the price. Did not buy the backing plate. Was missing a center cap on the spare, was still able to make something that worked just the same.

Easy to install, bright, works great, gave me my 3rd brake light back with bigger tires.

Then I failed inspection, because apparently it's not road-legal in the US.
Took me forever to find, but under federal law 49 CFR § 571.108, Table IV-B, minimum area of the 3rd brake light is 2903 mm², which for a circle means a diameter of 2.4 in. This light is a hair under 2 inches across.

Your mileage may vary. Bear this in mind if you drive on-road in a state with inspections.
