Perfect replacement for a broken mirror on a 1994 YJ.

Needed replacements. My current ones are the originals and are in bad shape.

Perfect fit. Be careful when removing the existing bolts as they strip easily on old Jeeps. I was able to replace the mirror in 15 minutes.

I ordered this mirror as a replacement for my '01 with full steel doors. It came well packaged and free of damage; 1 day ahead of UPS schedule. It's similar to the OEM mirrors, but not identical. The differences are small, but enough to notice. The mirror lens is good optical quality, with no warbles or visual flaws. The mirror head is pretty much Identical to the OEM and manufactured from the same ABS plastic. The real differences are from there down. The mirror comes with a note that says the head adjustment screws are left loose purposely from the factory. I found that mine were as tight as they would go out of the box, yet the mirror head doesn't feel very tight at all compared to the OEM. The mirror head doesn't seem to move around on it's own right now, but it's already not that stiff and if it ever starts to get loose there's no adjustment left to tighten it down. The rubber boot that covers the adjustment screws and post at the bottom of the head is pretty cheap material and doesn't fit well. The shape of the perch is close to OEM, but a bit more squared off and slightly longer/taller- not much; just enough to notice when you're standing in front of the Jeep. The bracket that mounts the whole thing to the door is a little thinner/less robust than the OEM, but probably not enough to matter. The mounting screws that came with it were cheesy Phillips head screws which were both cheap and didn't match the OEM Torx mounting screws, which I reused. Overall it seems to be a fair product at the outset, though clearly not the quality of the OEM, and I'm concerned about longevity on account of the adjustment screws. I would definitely stress that this mirror is an "OEM-style" replacement; not an OEM-quality or identical-in-appearance replacement.
