Buying this now for myself and will update later... But a friend that I kayak with bought this for his Jeep and it has performed excellent with both of our 12 foot Vibe kayaks all over northern California

Owned one before on another Jeep and loved it

Love the look and cargo space! Only negative thing is I have a little more than desired wind noise, and doors close little awkward, but tight.
But very satisfied with the product quality and practicality and look.

Installed as described. As always instructions could be a little more clear but use common sense and you'll be fine. Very stout and looks nice.

A necessity for a 2-door jeep if you want to bring anyone along! I took this on a very rugged trail and was able to camp with my entire family! My only complaint is that when loaded, on rugged terrain, it sways quite a bit and on a couple of occasions struck my hard top. But, the trail was very grueling and I managed to get 5 people, plus a 10x14 tent, 5 sleeping bags, food and water in and out for a weekend fishing trip!

Not hard to put on. Very strong and looks great.
BUT, DUMP all the bolts they send you, poor quality, and get stainless steal bolts.
Will not cost you much and they will tighten much better and will last and not rust.

Overall , the rack is great. Not difficult to install even though the the instructions are not great. I was disappointed to see that the upper door hinge mount has been modified. I like the earlier version better and based on the marketing and installation material thought that was the one I was getting. And since it is now different, I suggest you include the foam mounting pad for the new design. I had to create one from existing material. Not cool....

The instructions need work, i had to remove my rear bumper to make it fit. Would greatly help if the parts were labeled to remove the guess work, and have the hardware separated into small bags. It looks great, will see what happens when i add the attachments to carrying gear. Installed on a ‘06 TJ.
