Reviews for Bushwacker 10919-07 Flat Style Flares for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door
Great looking fenders. No drilling required.
love them especially with my 3.5 Rubicon express super flex lift and 37" tires. I bought the flat fenders a year ago before the lift they made it real easy to clean the mud off inside the tire and the fenders. just don't get the flip of colors for side lights white to red red to white . great buy very happy
I had put these on my 2013 Rubicon. Absolutely loved them . They looked fantastic, they went on fairly easily & even survived a rollover. Now I need them for my new JL.
Love these fenders. They're pretty solid, haven't faded or cracked in over a year. The side markers have aged amazingly well considering the amount of muck and water i put them through. Install will require a little imagination as they'll have to be trimmed but the padding and bolt pattern is amazingly forgiving. Great purchase!
Excellent fit and finish. Installation is fairly straightforward and an easy project for a day. On my JK, I found that the wires for the side markers were reversed (black-to-white/white-to-black) but YMMV. Completed flares are very solid and seem like they will take a beating. I especially love the improved clearance. My only complaint is that the pictures in the enclosed instructions are very low quality and I had to grab my tablet and look at them online.
Look Great on my Jeep! Install was about 5 hrs. Read instructions and Youtube videos before install will save time.
These look amazing on the Jeep JK and everything seems to be high quality. The install time of 1-3 hours seems way optimistic. Maybe if you've installed a few sets of these. Just a hint when installing these, take a good sharp knife or a razor blade and clean up all the plastic "flash" behind the holes. I just reamed the holes out with screwdriver but I think the install would have gone much faster had I performed this step. The instructions are very good but I cannot emphasize enough the part about taking an awl and making sure the metal clips are centered before putting the flares on the inner flare pieces.
Bought and installed these a few years ago. Have been very pleased with them. This last summer has been an opportunity to see exactly how well they stand up. My 120# grandson loves to climb into the back seat by climbing on the back fender. I thought it might cause considerable wear and tear, possibly break. They handled the stress just fine with no signs of damage. Would buy again.
Arrived quickly and well packaged. The fenders were warped out of shape about an inch. I was able to force them on the mounting brackets and once they were screwed in they look pretty good. Been on two trips and they stand up well to thick brush and tree branches.
First pair I got in the mail were misshaped and didn't go on well, after getting them replaced, they look great and have held up alright. The adhesive that hold the top edge has begun to peel after a few years though.
