Reviews for Rugged Ridge 11238.06 Flashlight Mounting Brackets for 1.5" Diameter Flashlights
Used these to replace the flimsy plastic ones that came in the kit for my JK. Wish the original kit had the metal brackets!
Convenient
Universal fit. Will use in Lexus GX470. Good reviews. Could also be used to mount flashlight in closets or kitchen cabinet for emergency use during power outages (hurricanes, etc.). Will likely buy more for the aforementioned uses.
Fits my maglite perfectly
Gifted
On sale and I made it work the way I wanted it to. Mounted them under my driver's seat using existing holes. Only used one hole and screw per side. Holds it well enough for my needs. Only thing is it's not a thin flashlight mount. I may need to buy another flashlight, both of my faves slide too freely. The adjustable flash light can sort of clamp on though.
I wanted this 2-pc set of brackets because I wanted to mount them on the back of my driver headrest. They wedge into the gap, filling it quite nicely and you can't see the heavy duty zip ties I used unless you're really looking for them. I am very happy with that choice and very happy with these brackets. Best of all...they hold my MagLite very tight (no way it could "fall" out).
These keep my Maglite really secure. I mounted on the side of the driver's seat in my 2008 JKU. There was only one hole on the seat brackets so I had to drill 3 additional holes. I had to get a 3/16 drill bit specifically for steel. I barely made a dent with a regular drill bit. It still took some time to drill through the steel. Doesn't come with any directions. I would drop 1/2 a star for lack of directions, but based on the product itself, it's a clean and simple design and my flashlight isn't going anywhere until I need it.
Great pair of clips. I zip-stripped them to my driver's headrest bars. My large head 4D LED light has never fallen out even when off-road. Easy access to remove and replace.
High Quality brackets. Mount these on the drivers outside seat bracket, so all the driver need to to reach a flashlight is reach down the side of the seat and there it is...
