I put these on all the Jeep Cherokees I purchase. This one allows for a slight overfilling beyond stock. Machined surface fits great. I use high temp silicon and not what they send in the package as I have more faith in the orange silicon. It will rust if you do not paint it. Inside shows the sand casting marks, so is not polished smooth.

Switched my low-pinion diff to a high-pinion as part of a 5" lift. The original low-pinion diff cover had the fill hole too low, and the resulting low oil level was causing some gear chatter at high speeds. The Riddler cover has the fill hole high enough for my high-pinion gear, and the chatter is now gone. Installation was easy with a reusable lubelocker gasket, and the next day there are no leaks either from the gasket or the fill plug.

Solid piece, looks great and installed easy, no compplaints.

Kit comes complete and is a bomb proof cover.

Poor casting, manufacturer didnt care that we had to take a grinder to it to get a socket in there to tighten down the bolts. Has held up to some serious abuse overall.
