Reviews for Mopar 68064720AA License Plate Bracket for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Excellent fit and easy to install.
easy to install if the bumper is off
exact replacement for existing
Bought this the same time I replaced a damaged bumper so screws behind the bumper were easy to reach, took about 15 minutes. Went with Mopar since I wanted to use the old lens cover. Worked great, thumbs up to the Quadratic team! Thanks for your help answering my questions!!
Easy to install. Looks great
Perfect fit.
Stephen k. review was helpful. No instructions and no screws.attached with the hooks .It was not tight as original and worrying that it may fall any time.Because Screws were not supplied.Without instructions I am not able to understand how to install it next to bumper. It has very small access .Quality is good though.
Exact replacement for previous part; there are no instructions in the box; all you need to is remove the plate, remove two screws, manipulate the electric lamp connection wire so that it disconnects from the previous mount, insert the lamp lens to the unit (not included), reconnect the wire to the mount, reattach the two screws and you are in business. The lamp lens from the old unit fit perfectly so I did not need to pay the $$ for a new lamp lens (good guess based on previous reviews which said the was the exact replacement, so I saved the $$ for a new lens guessing it would match and it did). This is not a five-star review because they could at least provide a single sheet of paper explaining the above in the box. Hopefully this review will provide the basics so other DIYs don't have to make educated guesses. No one likes surprises.
Very happy with the part, but instructions would have been nice. 2 lower screws nearly inaccessible. Original bracket was already broken so I broke it more to gain access to the lower screws and then replaced lower screws with phillips heads screws that could better be reached with a flex attachment on my cordless drill. Looks great, but kind of a pain to remove/replace.
Simple installation
