It’s glass. Work like glass should. Was easy to install ourselves. Got them tinted as dark as legally allowed. I was surprised it made it here unbroken, but it was fine.

I purchased this door glass for my '01 TJ. It arrived very quickly (2 days) shipped direct from PPR, was well packaged and damage-free (hasty delivery very appreciated, PPR- it's cold out!). It fits just like the original glass did. Seems to be made from very good quality tempered auto glass and free of flaws or defects. I'm very satisfied. A tip for getting those grommets into the new glass: I reused mine since they still seemed to be pretty pliable. If they're brittle or chewed up on account of "some other guy" using tools on them, just order new ones since they're cheap. Once you have them, drop them into a pan of hot water for about 5 minutes. This will soften them up for just a few seconds before they cool down and make them much easier to get into the glass by hand without using tools and/or damaging anything. If you're reusing old ones, give the wings a good pinch with some pliers to close them up a little after you pull them out of the hot water.

Glass took a little longer than expected, but arrived well packaged. The only issue I really didn't take into consideration was purchasing the replacement grommets for the mounting screws. Given the age and brittle conditions, I would prefer to have installed those new also. I did break off one of the tabs on the existing while removing, but was able to make it all work.
