Does this kit work with stock 15” wheels? The reason I ask is that a lot of aftermarket kits are not.
Yes. This kit does not appear to have an aftermarket wheel backspace requirement. Thanks for your inquiry.
What is the diameter of the tubing/piping?
The long tie rod has a 1" diameter. It's solid, not tubing. Thank you for the question.

Hello, I need to replace the left outer tie rod on this set. I purchased a duralast replacement, but the shaft diameter is much smaller. Which part number do I need? Thanks.

The order came with no information. What are the recommended torque to tighten the ends and the steering stabilizer.
Torque specs are the same as factory. 74nm (55 ft lbs) for both ends of the stabilizer as well as all four tie rod ends
Is this a direct fit?
It is a direct fit, no modifications needed. It uses larger diameter tubing for its strength. All tie rod ends are factory sized to fit original knuckles.
Will this work with a 3-1/2 inch lift?
Yes this will fit nice on a lift and is made to handle the larger tires and wheels
Where can I get correct replacement tie rod ends? Standard ones are too small to thread into the adjustment sleeve. The heavy duty set must use bigger ones that I can’t find replacements for.

This ships with 4 plastic boots and the rubber ball joint covers AND NO INSTRUCTIONS. Do you install this with the plastic boots in place? That wouldn't seem quite right but without any instructions in the box or linked here its hard to know
The blue boots are for shipping purposes only, they are to be removed and discarded prior to installation. Unfortunately printed installation instructions are not available as Crown relies on factory service manuals for all installation unless the part requires some type of permanent modification to stock components.
