Does this come with the top plunger Locking bracket and the door surround knobs or do I have to buy them separately?
No. These surrounds are for non Sunrider 07-09 soft top models which do not incorporate a plunger bracket like on Sunrider equipped door surrounds. Door surrounds knobs are also sold separately. Sorry for the inconvenience.
What is the difference between the "with" and "without" sunrider top parts?
The Sunrider version has an opening for the bow assembly to lock into place when folded shut. Non sunrider version would not be able to receive the cable style bow used 10-18. Thanks for your question.

What is the "Sunrider Top"? I recently purchased a 2007 2 door Wrangler and need a new door surround. Any info will help immensely... I currently have a factory soft top on the jeep.
The Sunrider feature is where the front area over the driver and passenger seats can be folded back while leaving the rest of the top up, like a sunroof. This system has a different style of front framework that connects to the door surrounds differently.
Why do these need to be removed, to install a Cab Cover?
That would depend on the cab cover being used. For example, the Mopar and other tight fitting cab covers are measured to the sport bars that the surrounds are connected to and with them in place they would cause an odd fitment, and due to harsh edges could tear the material while installing the cover or during windy conditions.
It fits with a wrangler that is year of manufacture 2009 and model year 2010? because i see in the site that 2010 to 2017 it is another door surround. so i dont know if i buy looking for the manufacture year or the model year? can you guys help me?
Hello, this was designed for the early style factory soft top. The early tops used plastic ribs that slid into the door surround. If your top is that style then you need this door surround. If your top has a steel cable that holds the top into the door surround, then you need the one for 2010 and up. Thank you for your question.
