Reviews for JKS Manufacturing JKS1210 Drag Link Flip Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Bought a Jeep with a lift but without all the proper mods. This kit was a major improvement on handling on a Jeep that was dangerous to drive at speed. (Probably why I got a deal on it ). Had to modify the bracket and the Jeep itself slightly but works great.
Great product, instructions are clear and easy to read. this corrected some bad geometry causing bump steer and slight death wobble. Will keep trying to up load picture.
Good price
I did not drive the JK without the OE drag link, so I cannot testify to the difference. However I cannot feel any bump steer with the 3.5 JKS lift.
I’m a huge fan of JKS suspensions and this kit does not disappoint. Very easy install and the product works flawlessly. Very happy with my purchase.
A must have for lifted Jeeps. Along with the raised rear track bar to cure bumpsteer
Easy install and good quality components in the kit. It fixed the bump-steer and improved the road manners. The tab to raise the steering damper attachment point is a nice feature.
This is a well designed kit. The drag link is beefy, and mostly grade-8 hardware is included, as is the step drill bit to rout out your passenger side steering knuckle. I combined the JKS drag link and relocation bracket with a previously installed JKS adjustable track bar, Synergy ball joints, and a Quadratec 2.5 inch lift kit. I did not need the optional JKS 3-inch bump stops, as they were already installed with the lift kit. The installation went well, but better illustrated directions would help or a JKS produced YouTube installation video. The U-bolt supplied for the relocation bracket was fine, but needs to be a little longer. It was not possible to use the supplied washers with the lock-nuts. There was not enough exposed threads to start the nuts on top of the washers, so the washers had to be omitted. The install and adjustments went well, and the steering is nimble & tight. If your trying to eliminate steering and wobble problems, spend a little extra money for a new tie-rod end for the drag link at the steering knuckle. Don't reuse your old end with your new drag link.
If you haven't already done so, you will need longer sway bar disconnects when you flip the drag link. If not, your new drag link will rub the sway bar when full turned to the right. The stock OEM links are just too short, and hold the sway bar to close to the drag link.
