Reviews for Gauge Works 900 000 Replacement Door Panel Pair for 87-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ 1/2 Steel Doors
Not bad for replacements. They don't fit really snug though but they work just fine. It's plastic and not super sturdy.
The panels look great except for this bubble right above the arm rest.
Door panels look good. The fasteners are absolute crap though. They do not hold the plastic to the metal door. Most of them popped out immediately rendering them useless. I am now struggling to find a replacement fastener long enough and wide enough to hold them. The top holes are also to small so you will need to drill them out some more.
I read all the reviews and thought..hey these will be a perfect replacement for my beat up panel... well I'm not exactly thrilled with the fitment and craftsmanship. Sure they look good and are lightweight but that's where any good stops, on both panels not one single hole lined up, the push pinlocks that hold the panel on all went in at an angle and none sit flush like they should then the pull straps all had to be drilled so the screws would line up with the holes. Inside the pocket looks like adhesive was just poured in and slapped together without cleaning the material, can't tell what is in the seams, could be dirt or cardboard. They fit very loose due to the poor fit from all the misaligned holes, I don't really anticipate them holding up very well.
C'mon guys, as much as they charge none of this should have even been an issue.
Definitely not a happy customer with these panels
1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ so yes they are the right product for the doors just rotton fit and finish
They are a nice looking door panel but very thin only after 1 week the top cracked around the upper insert and the clamps don't keep the panel held down so I came up with a way to keep them tight against the metal door she'll they had a great ideal but they missed several specs.
Door panels aren’t bad for the price and look nice, however the holes do not line up properly at all. Also if you’re considering using these with hardtop uppers, the built in shelf will prevent you from installing your hardtop uppers. Had I know they weren’t compatible, I wouldn’t have purchased them.
