Will this work in my 2005 LJ with 3.5 inch lift and standard SYE?
No, this is for Unlimited Rubicon. If you have a non Rubicon and with a standard SYE kit, you will want to choose this model.04-06 Drive Shaft Non Rubicon and with standard SYE Thanks for your inquiry.

Would this drive shaft be compatible with the Teraflex 4444400 231 Extreme Short Shaft Kit for NV231-J Transfer Cases. I currently drive a 05 LJ on a 4in lift and was looking to make an upgrade.
No. This shaft is only a fit for a standard SYE kit. For the Super Short or extreme short S.Y.E. kits they will need to install the kit and take measurements from edge of yoke to edge of yoke with the vehicle resting on the ground and have a custom length drive shaft built. Thanks for your inquiry.

04 tj (LJ) with 4 to 6" lift, how can I find out if jeep is 35 or a 44 without pulling the cover.
The easiest way to tell them apart is to look at the shape of the differential cover. The Dana 35 cover is round. The Dana 44 is a six-sided shape. You can call with your vin# 1-800-745-6037 and we can determine your factory axle. Thanks for your question.

will i need to install a transfer case lowering kit on my 2005 wrangler Unlimited Rubicon LJ with a 4" lift if replace the stock drive shaft with the Tom Woods 82301 915 drive shaft ?
No, the Rubicon transfer case does not need any mods to use a longer drive shaft. This will bolt right up and keep your drive line in place.
