Reviews for Bestop TrailMax II Sport Front Seat in Vinyl for 76-06 Jeep CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 Scrambler, Wrangler YJ, TJ & Unlimited
Very happy with these seats. Seem to be well made, very easy to install, look good, comfortable and a good value. Been riding on them for a year now. Maybe an inch or two higher than my old OG seats, but no huge diff.
Nice seat very solid & comfortable
I love these seats. They appear to be of good quality, installation was simple and all the holes lined up as they should, and they look good. One thing that I didn't think about.... These seats sit about 1.5 inches higher and about that same, further forward then my old, broken down seats. So, they're a bit "perky" rihht now... but I'm also assuming that is a part of being brand new, and I expect that over time, they'll settle in a bit. They also have a turn knob for seat back adjustment, not a lever.
A very good looking seat. Fit like it should. Sitting in it feels snug and secure. Maybe a little firm for my tender behind but we'll see after it breaks in a bit. Might be putting a seat pad on it. Will likely buy another one for the passenger side.
I spent weeks researching new seats for my CJ-7 and decided on the Bestop reclining Sport seats. They were more expensive than other brands but I’ve had good results with other Bestop products in the past. The seats are very nice looking and appear to be made with quality materials however, both seats had deep creases in the backs and bottom cushion likely from long term storage. I thought the creases might fade away after the seats were allowed to warm up from being on the cold delivery truck but no. After three days the creases are still present and I fear will never go away. I probably should have sent them back but figure the replacements would have the same unsightly marks. Also, as other have said they were a chore to assemble. You would think just attaching the backs to the cushions would be easy but it wasn’t.
