I sure hope these last forever cause I don't ever want to have to change them again. No fault of this product, just a next to impossible location.

I highly recommend including a few extra washers and nuts because some WILL be dropped, and some will never hit the ground so you can pick them up and try again. Luckly, I had some extra parts laying around to finish the installation.

These are a great factory replacement to modify the looks of your Jeep. They are designed just like the factory ones, which is exactly what I wanted. The polished stainless steel is a great look over the factory black plastic and just feel a lot tougher. If you like the design of the factory latches but want a better look, I would highly recommend.

Just to clarify, because it DOES NOT say it in the product description. Hood catch hooks and mounts ARE stainless steel. The catch links are RUBBER.
However, these are NOTHING like rubber on the OEM hood locks. These locks are significantly thicker and stronger than the original Jeep ones. And the DO eliminate "hood floating" completely at least at the speed below 160 km/h (100 mph). Overall very pleased with this product.

If I would have wanted RUBBER catches I would have left the old ones on...
